Surpassed 1000th Post!

I had to visit Golden Palms on Saturday so took a quick round of Hessarghatta, unfortunately there was no interesting sightings but managed to capture this Pipit with a catch. I couldn't even find Kestrel, however got few shots of Indian Roller:). I have cropped this image a bit.

Nice close up. Its good you got it with the catch. The eye contact is nice. There is some noise in the background. I think reducing the sharpening a bit would be good. Thanks for sharing.

The light on this seems to be very harsh. I would have also preferred a cleaner background.
