Nilgiri Tahr......Eravikulam

Only around 2000 Nilgiri Tahrs remain in the world and most of them live in Eravikulam NP near Munnar.One from the archives.....

I dont know whether this is a record thread as I havn't seen a picture of a Nilgri Tahr on India Wilds......!

Nice capture for a record shot.
I have been dreaming of capturing these on frame , however luck has been eluding me all the while. :)

The sharpness seems overdone and the white balance and saturation look out of place

Good to see a Nilgiri Tahr after a long time. I had posted a few last year. It seems the scanning has resulted in changing the colours.
