Shot in Similipal earlier this week.
Comments and critiques welcome.
PS: There is a damselfly on the yellow rock. Is it visible well?

Nice scene. A couple of more mini steps (rocks) would have helped in giving an impression of a pattern. The eye is led to the top of the image, as there seems to be some sort of opening primarily due to the dark rock at the top right corner and the rocks at the top left. The small patch of ground visible in the top doesn't help.
The yellow rock at the bottom stands out due to its colour. However, that doesn't seem to be focussed. Where was the point of focus?
Is this a crop?
Did you use a tripod or some support? Shutter speed was too low. Overall, a good effort. Keep on trying.

I had focussed manually at the central rock pyramid using the live view at 10x. Now when I look back, I think focussing on the yellow rock would have been better.
It was using a flimsy simplex tripod meant for Point and Shoot cameras.
I made a slight crop to straighten the water level, Somehow I had clicked this with a slight tilt. I wanted to straighten it a bit more but that would have cut off the yellow rock, so I let it be.
Will keep trying.
PS: I used the 2 sec delay shutter timer for this.

Nice waterfall. The eye goes to the top right corner.
Using mirror lock up would have been good, since you have remote you can use that. For 2.5 sec shutter speed, a mirror thud is not going to help. For landscape photography one needs a very good tripod. Thanks for sharing.
