This is from the series when the tigress came and sat in the water hole in Ranthambore Zone 3.

Canon 50D, 100-400mm L IS USM, 1/200, f5.6, ISO 400, hend held, full frame

Watching a tiger in water is always a nice experience. I like the eye contact. From this image, she appears to be a large tiger. Without the dead branch at the right side of the frame, the image would be strengthened. Unfortunately, there was no way of a low angle, as this waterhole is downhill. Thanks for sharing.

Certainly tigers in water is a treat.

Hope the recent rains would have replenished these water-holes offering respite to these magnificant animals from sweltering heat.

The stare looks nice here. The composition looks good too. A bit more space on the left would be better. She sure looks big. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely image Mrudul, it is a treat to watch tigers in water. The eye contact is really nice. Overall an excellent image.
