Ironically, it looks like a waterbird drowning and raising its wings (read arms) in desperation. ;)

Nice image. I like the title. The frozen water droplets look good. There is good detail in the wings.

PS: Is it a Common Moorhen/Coot?

Different perspective. I think it is a Moorhen too. The water splash is nice. The fanned out feathers look good. Thanks for sharing.

Indian moorhen.

During a chase, whenever the foot/legs of the chaser/aggressor falls on the water already disturbed by the feeling moorhen, due to lack of surface tension the fellow sinks and the other one is able to flee. In this case, for some inexplicable reason the fellow who was trying run away changed direction and crossed their previous track/disturbed water. The result was both of them got closer and sank underwater. Only one wing was visible. I felt it was like that of a whale and clicked. :D
