These flowers show up only once in 12 years.The next season is slated for 2018..........!

Nice colours. What were the EXIF details? I would have liked to see more details in the flowers. A higher DOF would have been good. Cropping a bit from the bottom to exclude the leaves below would enhance the composition further. Where was this photographed? Thanks for sharing.

Nature has such hidden treasures, it will take ages for man to decipher part of it. Just imagine our conventional Environment Impact Assessment process. A consultant will go to the place and come out saying that there is nothing of importance, where as the flowers are going to bloom only once in twelve years.

Nice image. There is a rock or some dark object near the rule of thirds position at top left. That is little bit distracting. Thanks for sharing.

Mrudul I dont have the Exif details.The photo was taken at Eravikulam national park at Munnar in 2006.
