Created this image at Karnala Bird Sanctuary some weeks ago. There is very little eye contact in this image, but I felt like posting it nevertheless.

Camera Model Name Canon PowerShot SX10 IS
Shooting Mode Aperture-Priority AE
Tv (Shutter Speed) 1/250
Av (Aperture Value) 5.7 (Should I have used a narrower aperture?)
Exposure Compensation -1
ISO Speed 100
Cropped to place the lizard to the left.

Thanks, C&C eagerly awaited.

The composition is nice. I like the light and the low angle.
A bit more eye contact would have been good. The background is nice and smooth.
I think the DOF is fine here. At f/5.6 in a PnS you would get much more depth of field due to the smaller sensor than you would with a DSLR.
Thanks for sharing.

Frontal lighting would have been good here in showing up details. The composition is fine. Nice low angle. Early morning or late evening light would have been great.

Cheers,

The low angle and the clean BG enhances the composition. Agree frontal lighting would have been good. Thanks for sharing.
