The eye contact is nice. It would have been good to use F4 here and gain the advantage of higher shutter speed. The background would have been slightly more diffused as well. Thanks for sharing.

very good sharpness, noise performance of 1000d seems impressive..is it full-frame?

This was cropped from left and bottom.

The noise isnt very evident when posting at 800px, but at 100% it is visible. These images are only good for small size web postings. :)
