Shot this in Ranganathittu yesterday. Guess what the green thing near the leg of the heron is?

Comments and Critiques welcome.
Minor crop from bottom and right.

Slight head turn would have been good. Not sure about the yellow thing. It looks like someone has tied something there. :D

Nice perch. Agree about the head turn. I think the green thing is part of the stem. Thanks for sharing.

Initially even I had thought someone has tied something there. But those are larvae bunched together. :D

Nice shot. Agree abt the head turn. I like the composition. Those larvae are certainly interesting. :)
