Crested Serpent Eagle (Spilornis cheela) caught in the act. :-)

Bandipur Tiger Reserve.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, ISO 400, f5.6, 1/400, handheld, full frame image.

Brightness increased one third stop during post processing as I was just watching and was not ready to click. From its body language, I realised its intention and immediately raised the camera and fired.
