Moorhen in last light

I got off work early today and decided to head towards Kukkarahalli lake for some evening birding :). Shot this in the last light of dusk at Kukkarahalli lake in Mysore this evening. This is a full frame image.

Good that you got it close. The eye contact is nice. Did you recover the highlights? Wish the light was from behind your shoulders, as a catchlight would have lifted up this image. Look forward to more.

Sabyasachi, I did recover the highlights from the background. The light was from behind and the image was slightly underexposed. So I pulled up exposure by 0.10 during processing.
