Ibis in Flight

Have been pathetic with birds in flight, but have been trying hard at it. Shot this yesterday in the evening. I know it has already flown past me, but still the wing spread made me post this.

i like this image, which mode do you prefer?, normally such images get underexposed if not compensated.

I would ideally like to go with Tv mode, but I'm not very comfortable with it yet. So I dial in a +ve compensation with metering as centre weighed avg (My camera doesnt have spot metering) and use the Av mode.
