The eye contact is nice. If possible a lower angle would have enhanced the image further. There are a few highlights near the leg, you can try to recover the details. Where was this photographed? I still have to photograph this bird :(. Thanks for sharing.

I agree about the highlights. A little more head turn towards you would have been lovely. A little more space at the top would be good too. Is this an immature bird?

Good that you got this bird close. They are pretty skittish. Moving a bit to your left while photographing and reducing the highlights during post processing would have been good. Thanks for sharing.
