These ungulates live in these undulating terrain of the Eravikulam National Park near Munnar.They are known to dwelve in places where most other animals find it difficult to tread.

This male scans its living place in a relaxed mood.....

Lovely composition. I like the framing on both sides and the habitat shown. In our push to get better close ups, we often forget the beautiful portrayals we can do at wider angles. Thanks for sharing.

Slightly larger in the frame would have been better. The habitat is shown well. Unfortunately, these grasslands are being taken over. Normally they come down from the cliffs to feed and also to move from one cliff to another through the grasslands. Human interference is now cutting off those paths.
