More of a tribute to your stalking (read crawling) ability for not only have you got to get low down, but close as well . . . .

Stalking skills is very important. Even with a long tele lens, one still need to move in closer to get the bird larger in the frame. I like the colours. A slight head turn towards you would have been great.

I am sorry. That is a Malaysian Plover (Charadrius peronii) Male. It is not a resident species.
