Oriental White-eye

Currently in Gurgaon and posting when I can. Don't know when I will be on next but will be active during my stay at this grey and drab place.

Oriental White-eye (Zosterops palpebrosus). The resort is filled with the cat-like mewling of these birds all through the morning.

500mm on tripod at ISO 400.

Though I am not familiar with their calls, however, "Cat like mewing" seems to be an interesting description. :-)

Beautiful composition & lovely colors. It is always a challenge to shot these tiny birds, but you have got it to perfection.

Nice capture. Reducing the saturation would make this image better. There seems to be some loss of quality here.
