Nilgiri Tahrs are very amicable animals and gives you lot of opportunity to take pictures from all angles and views.The Indian gaur may be just the reverse.This is from Eravikulam NP,Munnar

A vertical composition would have been good here. I think the focus has locked on to the vegetation. When the contrast is less - the typical scene you faced in mist - the focus will lock on to higher contrast areas and not on the face. So one has to be careful. Thanks for sharing images of these endemic, highly vulnerable creatures.

The stare is nice. You have clipped the horns at the top. Including them in full would have been nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice alert look, the eye contact is good. I agree that vertical compo would have been stunning.
