It is good you used f8. The details are nice. The open beak is a plus. Nice perch. We see these birds a lot, but they are quite difficult to photograph. Thanks for sharing.

I agree. Getting a well diffused background becomes difficult with these fellows. One needs to wait for them to perch at the right place. The open beak is a plus. Slightly more head turn would have been better. Thanks for sharing.
