View Full Version : A Nilgiri Tahr with its tail up!

Most often the tail of the tahrs are not that ostensiible.It would look like an animal without one.But here is one with its tail up.I dont know what it is contemplating?!

Canon400D,55-250IS,1/400,6.3,ISO 400

I like the composition. Dialling a positive exposure compensation here would have been good as the subject is slightly underexposed. The 'perch' looks nice. Thanks for sharing. :)

One can get an idea about the weather conditions and the habitat. I agree that a position exposure compensation would have been better in getting the eye better. There is a branch at the left side of the frame. That can be avoided. Thanks for sharing. Your images makes me feel like visiting there again.

The pose is good. The raised tail is nice. Its nice to see so many various behaviour images of Niligiri Tahr. Thanks for sharing.

Sabya please make a visit to Eravikulam.....

The Tahrs are waiting for you to come there and take some stunning pictures.

This Tahr seems to be not liking my 55-250mm lens and wants to see a longer one.Make it happy.........

(Praveen has already expressed his desire to come)
