Here is a B&W tahr. The tahr is basically a colorless animal. But the surrounding are really greenish which is missed in this picture. From Eravikulam NP....

Canon 400d,55-250is,5.6,1/200,iso400,used photoshop to make it b&w

Slightly more space at the top will enhance the composition. The eye contact is nice. I won't say that the Nilgiri Tahr is colourless. Their body colour matches with their habitat.

For me the black and white image of Tahr looks more appealing - perhaps I consider as if am in mid 70s of the last century when Smt. Indira Gandhi, the then Prime Minister took wildlife protection more serious.

The b/w treatment looks good. Definitely the fresh green of the monsoons is missed, but the details are nice. The eye contact and the composition is good. Thanks for sharing.

Good attempt to give the bw feel, however I agree with Mrudul the greenery & the monsoon feel is missing from this one.

Nice attempt. I would increase the contrast a bit. Agree that seeing this in colour would look good as well. Thanks for sharing.
