I am re-posting one of the most thrilling moments that I have ever witnessed exactly a year ago, on 7th Aug 2009 at Kavare Katte Bandipur. One year has passed so quickly & I can feel the action happening even now. For those who missed this before, a pack of 14 wild dogs chased a spotted deer, the deer in panic jumped into the water. The wilds dogs exactly wanted this, the alpha male then made the attack in the water; the drama went on for 30 mins. Finally the pack of 14 made the feast; a group of four sambars that were present in the same water body looked on helplessly. I was not only blessed to have witness this live but also shot the complete sequence of this action.

This doesn't happen every day. It is good that the eye of the dhole is visible. The flying water droplets add a lot to the image and tells the story of the struggle. Thanks for sharing.
