Nice eye contact you have managed with this image. A natural perch would have been awesome. The light seems pretty low as you used ISO 1000. Including the lower half of the body would have been great as well.

I like the eye contact. The dark tree in the background attracts attention. If you could have moved a bit to avoid it, then the image would have been strengthened. A vertical composition in a natural perch would have been nice. Look forward to more.
