The eye contact is nice. The open beak is a plus. Would have liked a bit more space at the bottom than in the top. Wish the leaf near the head was not present. What was the shutter speed? Thanks for sharing.

Nice eye contact. A higher shutter speed would have helped you freeze the movement of the bird. The leaf passing behind the head is a bit distracting. The catchlight is nice. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the comments. A higher shutter speed would have helped freeze the subject.
