Beautiful moment captured. The details are nice and sharp. I liked the way the flies are still hovering near him.

I think this is not a proportional crop. While cropping in Lightroom, there is a symbol of a lock that apperas in the tool bar. You can keep it locked, so the image will be proportionally cropped from all the sides. An horizontal composition should work too, do post it too. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Mrudul, I was in 2 minds about horizontal. Good that you mentioned that it may be better. I have the image ready with horizontal compo, will post it later. Thanks again

A tight portrait would have been nice. You can compose in vertical as well as horizontal. In this case, I would prefer the horizontal. Using a 1.4x would have helped in terms of focal length, however you would have needed to increase the ISO.

Cheers,

Thanks Sabyasachi, ideally I should have used 1.4x TC as I had the SS to 400, by the time I decided to connect the Tiger decided to move. Hence missed out...

The pose is lovely. The flies really add to the image. I would give more space to the right of the frame. A horizontal would look good in my opinion. Thanks For Sharing.
