Squabbling Egrets

Got these Median Egrets nesting in Mandegudde bird Sanctuary in Shimoga district of Karnataka. The mother egret came in with feed and the two juveniles started squabbling between themselves for the food.

Nice behaviour captured. I would have liked more space on the right than on the left. A higher shutter would have been good, but the light seems quite bad. The wing spread of the one on the right looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

Agree about more space on right. I guess you were trying to get the entire curved branch. It is not easy to control the whites. The depth of field is good. 1/200 shutter speed is less to capture action. I would prefer a higher shutter speed in this case. Thanks for sharing.

Nice capture of the behaviour. Agree with Mrudul about the composition. I would also like more space at the top.
