Sloth bear killed in accident. KSTDC says its the First!!

Highly unfortunate and utterly irresponsible.

I have seen these buses driving fast inside the forest and no wonder that a Sloth bear is killed. Even an agile animal like tiger has been killed in the past in bandipur. Elephants have been hit.

To dismiss it by saying it is the first such incident is a very irresponsible statement. Does that mean anyone can get away by saying that they it is the first time they have killed an endangered species. There has been no mention about action taken. I believe no body is thinking about ensuring that systemic solutions are in place to stop these road kills.
