Nice walking pose. Wish the shutter speed was a bit more to freeze the paw. Thanks for sharing.

The pose is nice. I like the vertical composition. The reds look unnatural in the image. You might need to relook your white balance. Thanks for sharing.

I agree with the previous comments. Normally, 1/500 should have been ok if the tiger is walking straight towards you at its normal pace. However, a higher shutter speed would be better to ensure that the tiger is sharp.

Also, in sidelight situations, the auto focus may not lock on to the face. It would rather lock on to contrasty portions. So one needs to be careful.
