Nice flight shot. The catch is a plus. Wonder why the wing is blurred... the shutter speed and aperture here should have been enough (?)

Good catch. I wish you were closer to the bird and/or had a longer focal length. That would have made it easier. When the bird is small in the frame, the meter tends to underexpose the image, as the reading is from the entire image area which is bright due to the sky. A positive exposure compensation depending upon the situation has to be done if you are shooting on priority mode.
