Shot this in Bandipur, this one had a tiny baby mongoose to look after, hence she was very watchful all the time, I managed to click one image with both mother and baby but it is not worth posting, just a record shot. However later had another opportunity to shoot a mongoose with 4 babies, will post the image soon...

Nice sighting. Its difficult to get a decent photograph of them as they are very shy. Its good you got it standing. You could have added some more space at the bottom from the top. I liked the eye contact. Look forward to more in the series.

Good that you got the head portion in the clear. Since the rear leg is behind the bush, a close up looks good and the raised fore legs gives an indication of its behaviour. A slight head turn would have been even better. Thanks for sharing.

Nice pose. Moving a bit to the right would have ensured that the sticks and the head dont coincide. Thanks for sharing.
