ID help please

Found these near the BNHS CEC (in Sanjay Gandhi NP), Mumbai. The light was tricky... managed to get this record shot.
Saw these for the first time. They seem to be some kind of insect larvae, they look like grubs with an amber coloured jelly coating. ID help appreciated.

Tried using a narrower Av along with flash, but it seemed to give the images a very unnatural look.
Adjusted the levels a bit and cropped.

It seems light was pretty low. Am not sure what these are. Slight cropping to remove the leaf at the bottom would have been even better.
