Hi

Amateur Photographer, looking for improvement tips
Please comment on attached pic

This male attracted my attention due to deep colouring of neck feathers and fiery red legs.
To my understanding it was due to mating season.
I put some rice to attract them (the group) and shot this while it fed.

Hi Saurabh,

Welcome to IndiaWilds.

Its good to know that you want to learn photography. We all will definately help you to improve. This forum is meant only for posting images of wild birds and animals, so please refrain from posting images of domestic animals.

Do post your camera details so we know what equipment you are using. It will be also helpful if you mention details like which mode you used to photograph and ISO, aperture and shutter speed details.

Do check the following links for more details on uploading images -

You can check the Tips section to understand more on photography techniques.

Keep posting.

Thanks Mridul

This is not a pic of a domesticated bird. It was free and wild. But if you mean that Pigeons can be domesticated, then yes, i agree...

I'll try not to post an ambiguous pic in future
