Shot this near Valley School early in the morning, missed out on getting images of male, he was looking stunning with those striking red colors. The male was extremely busy in collecting twigs and was building a nest far away in dense area, the female was taking it easy and watching the male do the job:). Unfortunately could not shot on a natural perch:(

I had never seen these colorful birds before, hence my first shot of Red Avadavat, hopefully will get images of male soon.

Also first time ever used a Tripod (rented), was quite an experience & circus:)

Sabyasachi this is last thing you have to make me buy:)

Beautiful. The red eye is striking. The details are nice. I liked the clean background. I think you are quite comfortable with the tripod, you can buy one :). Look forward to more.

Nice clean background. The eye contact is good. Wish you get the red munia male as well. They Gitzo systemic series tripods are lighter. Nothing can beat the ease of use of handholding. However, tripods provide the stability and the sharpness.
