The vertical composition looks nice. The greenery is very soothing. Where is this Sarvajnya - Kutajadri mountains? Thanks for sharing.

thank you Mridul... Sarvajnya is in Kutajadri mountains near to Kollur. Most of the Devotees who visit Kollur temple used to pay a visit to these mountains too... As this place has a mythological history related to the temple. We need to trek for about 8 to 10kms uphill, the forest is a mixture of Evergreen, Moist deciduous & Shola vegetations. 3 important spots are met within the length. Sarvajnya (2nd spot) is a heavenly place to be experienced where Adi Shankaracharya was believed to have stayed & meditated for years. Though devotees trickle in these forests much, most of the areas are free from human interference & pollution. This place in Karnataka is as important as that of Coorg, Bababudan hills etc., & loved by people for its Peaceful nature..

Nice forest. The jungle looks good. Vertical composition works here and the dirt track leads the eye into the image.

Cheers,

Agree with the comments below. The vertical composition is nice.

It has one of the best shola streches i have seen.Untouched the endemic species will thrive. But the jeeps are a nuisance and as the piligrims at Mookambika increase their numbers are increasing. The FD should restrict the number of jeeps allowed per day.

This is a nice image. I like the composition and the tree patterns look nice. The soil colour adds variety to the image. There are a lot of details in the image and this would look good in larger size. Thanks for sharing.
