Not a great image. Nevertheless sharing it here.

We were waiting for the tiger to appear, as there were alarm calls from deer for sometime. A herd of Sambars were staring at old fort ramparts where we were expecting the tiger. A storm was approaching and we were ready to be drenched. However the storm abated and these sambars turned back and moved towards us. On the way they didnt forget to pick a few tasty weeds.

I just picked up my 400mm and fired handheld.

Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm F2.8 L IS USM, ISO 800, f5.6, 1/400, full frame image.

Cheers,

Nice behaviour captured. The weeds in the mouth are interesting. The details are nice. Thanks for sharing.

I like the weed in the mouth. The new growing antlers look nice as well. Some more space all around would have been nice, but you were already shooting with the bare 400mm. Did you get any wide angle shots of this? Thanks for sharing.
