I have been posting a few images of River Terns lately. but I saved the ones I cherished most for last. I don't know about you guys, but scapes speak more to me than close ups. This is one of my favourites.
A few might find the top left area distracting, but I felt that it went with the image.

This is nice Bibhav, this seems regular perch for the river terns. I like the composition & b/w treatment works quite well here. As usual light at R'thittu is harsh most of the time:laugh:

Thanks Praveen. This was shot at 7AM in the morning in R'thittu. :-)

Nice image. The top left corner is a bit distracting. I am finding a bit difficult to see the details in the Tern (in my office monitor). The details on the rock are nice. Thanks for sharing.

Nice image. The monotone treatment looks good. The top left is not a big issue for me, but I would have liked a little more space at the top.

Nice image and treatment. Agree with you regarding scapes and closeups. This one will also look nice as a wide "pano" if you chop off a third of the foreground.

Thanks for the Suggestion Vikram. I agree with you. I will try that.
