This was shot last month in Karanji Lake in late afternoon light.
I have cropped a bit from the top to eliminate some 'human' elements.

The head turn is nice. The wing spread looks good. The details have come out well. Wish you didn't have to crop from the top. What time was this photographed? Look forward to more. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the observations Sabyasachi. I agree about the harsh harsh harsh light. This was shot from the edge of the lake.
