I was watching this purple heron for sometime and it managed to catch a prey.
Keoladeo National Park. Bharatpur. Am not sure whether we can call it Keoladeo Ghana anymore, as the park is no longer has dense vegetation.
Canon EOS 1D Mark IV, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII ie. at 800mm optical focal length, ISO 800, f8, 1/800, full frame image.
I could have moved the camera a bit to the left, however, composed it to keep the vegetation on the right intact.
Cheers,
Sabyasachi
