The composition is good and perch is nice. You could have incldued the reflection in full. Did you try vertical?

Agree with Praveen thar including the reflection would have been better.

The eye contact and composition is fine. Abhishek's version appears better. When you are clicking against the light, there is loss of contrast. You have to give a positive exposure compensation so that the exposure is right and then during post processing, you need to increase the black point.
