Slight head turn towards you would have been nice. Unfortunately, the light was not from behind you, as that leads to the eye becoming dark. How many pelicans have visited the Kurinji lake this year? Thanks for sharing.

The perch is nice. Agree about the head turn. You could have tried a narrower aperture. Thanks for sharing.
