I like the eye contact. The background is well diffused, except for the lower bottom part which attracts attention due to the brighter colour. A bit more sharpness would be good. While clicking you may need to ask the boatman to keep the boat still. They have a habit of moving the boat even when the photographer is clicking. Thanks for sharing.

The composition is nice. Nice eye contact. It is better that you don't use intermediate ISO (160, 230,..etc). You can very safely use ISO 200 or 400 in 7D. Thanks for sharing.
