Vertical composition,

Canon 1000D, SIGMA 70-300MM, F-6.3, SS-1/250, ISO -800

I took this in Raw format, without post processing i have posted this image.It looked fine to me , please suggest if it requires any post processing.

The vertical composition is nice. Moving a bit more to the left to get the owl fully would have been good. You can increase the contrast just a bit. Thanks for sharing.

Ill do that , FYI i spotted nearly 38 species of birds in 2-3 sq km, which includes Paradise flycatcher also, i have taken few record shots of it which ill post later.
As i have 70-300mm sigma, it has its own limitation.

In this image, you have moved to the right. Instead, moving to the left would have been better, as you could have avoided the branch in the background appearing directly behind the bird.

It is good to know that there are many species of birds in a small area. It is not always possible to get close ups of birds with a 300mm lens. In bird photography, even a 800mm falls short. So one has to be patient and wait for the birds to come close. Keep on trying and documenting.
