The details on the body are nice. The green colour has come out well. Any reason for using f2.8? Did you try a narrower aperture? Thanks for sharing.

thanks! reason for f/2.8...1) light wasn't good, 2) I prefer not to use ISO above 400, 3) ISO 400 would mean f/4, which wouldn't help in increasing DOF much anyway, ..

I agree with the logic. The depth of field at such close focussing distances is very less. Unless you are able to use a narrow aperture to get good depth of field, it may be worthwhile going the entire opposite and use f2.8. That would mean choosing the point of focus with care.
