From the recent trip to Bandipur, this was just pack of two M/F, this one is the female. The male has some injuries on his face and eye region that are healed quite well now. Will share images of the male soon...

Nice relaxed pose. The low angle and the composition is nice. The swaying grass adds to the mood of the image. Thanks for sharing.

You got a low angle. Unfortunately, the intervening grasses mar the view a bit. It would have been great if you could have got the entire head in the clear.

One option was to use the 1.4x and get a tight portrait, eliminating the back portion. The natural curve of the neck and back frames the grasses. The grass on the right is in focus as well. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

Engaging eye contact. The image feels a bit centred. Using the AF points on the right would have been good for helping in the composition. The one in focus grass strand distracts a bit. Agree that a 1.4x could have given you a tight portrait albeit with the loss of 1 stop of shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.
