Dear All,

Made this image in K.Gudi last month. It was around 10:30PM, and it was a great thrill to follow this biggie with our Torch lights (inside the JLR campus) and locate him. Must admit Cannon 1D Mark III is a monster when it comes to low light photography. I have not done major PP in this image except the usual color correction and Sharpening. Very minimal noise :-)

Gear : Canon 1D Mark III + Cannon EF 500 f/4 on Wimberly II mounted on Gitzo Tripod. Light source was Maglite

EXIF : | Aperture Priority | f/4 | 1/10 | ISO-2000 | -1 EV | Evaluative Metering |

Comments & Critics are most Welcome.

Stunning image indeed especially under the conditions. Composition is superb. The bird and the perch are perfectly lit. I must say this is one of the few instances of effective use of MagLite!

Liked the composition and the eye contact. The details are nicely visible even in such low light. Not much noise. Nicely captured. Thanks for sharing.

Very nicely done Subbu. The spotlight effect looks good. The details are good for 1/10 shutter speed. Thanks for sharing.
