This image was created in Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary, AP.
I was photographing with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM lens, EF 2x II converter, ISO 200. f6.3, 1/800.
The effective focal length was 800*1.3 (due to the factor of the sensor) = 1040mm
Ranbir who was photographing by my side was using a EOS 450D, and Sigma 120-400mm at 400mm end. So his effective focal length was 400*1.6 (factor of the sensor) = 640mm. You can see his image in the following link
