The eye contact is good. Regarding the wires, I have similar comments as I had earlier made on Praveen's Kingfisher image. Due to the two wires act like a frame and our attention is drawn to the portion of the body between the two wires. In any animal or bird, the head ( and eyes) has to be in the most prominent position, so that our attention goes there. So we often compose with the head in the Rule of Thirds position.

If you happen to go to Hessarghatta, you will find drongos much closer to you.

The eye contact is nice. The vertical composition works. I agree with Sabyasachi, if you get a chance do go to Hasserghatta, they actually come very close to you. Thanks for sharing.

The veritical looks good here and eye contact is nice. Agree about Hessarghtta would be ideal for shooting these and other raptors. The Drongo's sometimes almost come inside your car:laugh:
