I wanted to create an abstract image. The gaur was feeding on the grass grown between the rows of tea bushes. It was drizzling. You can see it if you observe closely. I closed in and created this abstract. As a reward I got a few leech bites. :)

Can you guys suggest a title.

Canon EOS 50D, Canon 300mm f4 L IS USM, ISO 800, f6.3, 1/1000, EV:-2/3, full frame image, obviously handheld.

Cheers,
Sabyasachi

PS: A word of caution. Unless you understand the behaviour, don't try to move close. Later, I will post an image of just the head just to give an idea of how close I was.

Wow! Interesting image, Gaur in a Tea Estate. Looking at his back I can image the size of Gaur, looks scary. The Jungle Myna's have come out well. Looking forward to the other images, must be a thrilling experience.
when and where was this photographed?

Intersting composition. The symmetry created by mynas enhance the composition further. Nice details. The drizzling rain gives a nice feel to image. Thanks for sharing.

Novel perspective. The drizzly scene has come out well.I wud prefer to have the Tea bushes in the fore and background are also in focus. The mynas seem to be saying "For all his muscle we can crap on him".:001_smile:

My suggestion for a title to this image is

"There used to be a head mate!"

Nice composition Sabya. The color of the Gaur is in conrtrast to the greenish surroundings.Little scary as well.
