Nice composition. The eye contact and the pose is nice. The reflection looks good. Wish the reflection of the bird in the background was not distracted by the stem. Thanks for sharing.

Nice composition. Reflection adds to the beauty of the image. Agree about the stem. Wish both of them were in focus. You can do a round of sharpening - a bit soft currently in my opinion.

Agree with the above comments. Though one gets them in pairs, one more lapwing would have been great in terms of composition.
