One of the common but beautiful birds of our gardens. It is named tailor bird due to it's way of building the nest by sewing the leaves with cobwebs. The nest is a deep, soft cup lined with soft materials and is placed in thick foliage and is difficult to spot. The punctures made on the edge of the leaves are minute and do not cause browning of the leaves, further aiding camouflage. If you listen and look closely, chances are you will spot it around you and in your garden :001_smile:
Clicked in Pune with EOS 7D using 400mm f/5.6L @ f/6.3, 1/1250, ISO 400. Few twigs cloned out. The tree it is perched on is the same Woodfordia fruticosa where I clicked the earlier Grey-breasted Prinia. C&C most welcome!
