Am animal doing something ! ( almost )

Hugo Van Lawick the wildlife photographer , who I admire , always tried to include , as he described in his own words , an animal doing something in all his landscape photographs. Yesterday I remembered his words when I saw this Egret and decided to try it out. Hopefully I will be able to get a Lawick type landscape shot soon.

Hugo was an amazing guy. I have watched his films for hours and have been spell bound with his knowledge. The rapport that he had developed with one lioness was amazing. That lioness had left her small cubs in his presence and had gone for hunting. Love his dedication, knowledge and his photography ofcourse.

In your image, I would have liked the egret more towards the left and some more details in the shadow areas.
